General Vo Nguyen Giap died

Afternoon of 4/10, the legendary General of Vietnam has breathed his last at the Institute of Military Medicine 108 (Hanoi), 103-year-old life.

General Vo Nguyen Giap was born on 25/08/1911 in Quang Binh. He is the first minister, the Supreme Commander in Chief of the Vietnam People's Army. He was directly involved directing many important campaigns such as Border Campaign Fall-Winter 1950, the Battle of Dien Bien Phu (1954), Tet Campaign (1968), Ho Chi Minh Campaign (1975). Recently, General Vo Nguyen Giap, military medical treatment at Institute 108.
